Dreft IS Hypoallergenic And Amazing For Sensitive Little Ones: GIVEAWAY and TWITTER PARTY ALERT!

October 29, 2014 in Babies

Disclaimer: This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Dreft. All opinions are 100% mine.

dreft

While I still do dread the cold weather, I no longer dread dry, scaly skin of my little ones. Babies have such soft skin when they are born, but it doesn’t take long for their precious skin to get dried out if not properly cared for.

lola

With winter lasting a good five to six months here, it is so important to keep little ones bundled up. Not only that but when washing their clothing and bedding to use hypoallergenic items that are going to be gentle on their sensitive skin.

One of those items is Dreft, the #1 baby laundry detergent choice of pediatricians to be gentle and hypoallergenic on baby’s skin. Trusted for over 80 years, Dreft comes with a babyhood scent beloved by moms and provides little ones fabrics with an amazing clean, yet it remains safe and hypoallergenic for baby. Specially formulated to be gentle on baby’s skin but tough on stains, Dreft brings cuddle time to a whole new level of warm and fuzzy this winter season.

My sister and I were talking about this the last time we were together. She was talking about washing her new baby clothes and blankets. My question to her was, “Do you have Dreft?” It’s almost like a staple when it comes to baby laundry or clothes of little ones with sensitive skin. And to be honest, my skin is also sensitive…so even as an adult I enjoy using Dreft simply because I know I will not break out.

Someone told me when I was pregnant with my first that I had to use special baby detergent, but sine he was remarkably clean all the time (no leaks, spills, or spit-ups hardly ever) that I never had enough clothes to wash alone for him so I didn’t use it and my kiddo’s clothes lasted forever and are going to be soon used again for baby No. 2

Dreft is actually a great product! When I had baby #2 I thought that I was being ‘overprotective mom’ so I started using regular detergent and my daughter started getting red dots on her skin. I immediately switched back to dreft and red dots were gone!

I loved to use Dreft for my baby, the scent was very good and his skin reacted very well to it (I had previously used another brand that made his skin all dry). Sometimes I also used baby oil and bundled him up really well when the weather was really cold and dry, but as a detergent Dreft was the only brand I used for his baby clothes.

Ask my kids and they will confirm. If there is one thing that I know is that staying hydrated is so important.

Clean drinking water is even better! I introduce to you ZeroWater. Only ZeroWater leaves 000 dissolved solids, for the purest tasting water. ZeroWater is the only filter certified by the NSF to reduce both Lead and Chromium. It also has a premium 5-stage filter versus the standard conventional 2-stage filter used by other brands.

I am teaming up with @zerowater000 to give away a zero water pitcher. This pitcher comes with a water quality meter and premium 5-stage ion exchange filter!

The Ready-Pour technology allows you to dispense filtered water as the reservoir continues to filter. No need to wait until the pitcher is full to start enjoying.

Here’s the deal and the rules.
