Boost Your Baby’s Immune System, Ease Tummy Trouble With #UpSpring

This review was made possible by iConnect and UpSpring. I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.

Oh how I remember when my little man was a baby. We were both completely miserable because he had digestive issues. There were many tears. He had such an upset stomach that would lead me to spend hours rubbing his belly to relax…holding him a certain way…passing him back and forth from my husband to myself. While these issues lasted a couple of months, it seemed like forever and I felt so helpless.

There is nothing worse than an upset tummy. I recall several days of taking turns trying to soothe my little guy’s pain. I was breastfeeding too, so of course I blamed myself. Was I passing something onto my little guy from food that I had eaten?

I wish back then I had known about probiotics then as I am starting to learn a little bit more now. More people are becoming more familiar with the well-balanced microbiome, which is a collection of bacteria that children are born that helps to control gut and immune health. It is important!

UpSpring, a mom-founded and mom-run company, has a mission to empower parents with confidence and to give them the freedom to enjoy motherhood even more. By finding innovative solutions to the everyday health and wellness challenges and frustrations facing mothers of a baby or young child, UpSpring provides “more fun, less worry.” Since 2005, UpSpring has made all-natural products based on true science that solve real problems.

UpSpring’s Probiotic + Colostrum recently hit the shelves at Target and Walgreen’s. This product does double duty, helping to reduce occasional digestive upset like constipation, gas and diarrhea, while also providing additional immune support. With 6 probiotic strains plus prebiotics (which help the beneficial bacteria flourish), each serving contains 5 billion active cultures. Colostrum, too, acts like a prebiotic, and it provides a complete range of antibodies for even more immune support.

I keep hearing good things about probiotics! I think it’s never too early to start.

  • I wish I’d known about this when my littlest was a baby! We already love upspring vitamins!

  • I didn’t know they made probiotics for babies. I’m pregnant now so this is super useful. Going to have to look into these.

  • Aw, this brings me back to the time of having a baby! I miss those moments.

  • This sounds like a great product. My poor guy struggled some with stomach issues when he was a baby, this might have helped a lot.

  • Growing up my sisters constantly had these issues and it was always so frustrating because we could never do anything for them. This is an awesome product! Glad there’s something out there now!

So many things to keep in mind when we have little ones. I always made sure our medicine cupboard was stocked for just about any ailment!

  • This could be useful for my friend little one. Thank you for this handy little info. xx

  • This comes really handy since winter seems to be lasting forever this year and my little one definitely needs a little help with the immune system! Thanks for sharing

  • I’d love to know where the probiotics and the colostrum come from. Do you know?

  • What a neat product. I may have to pass this info on to my sister who’s little one is having stomach issues.

  • Oh my gosh probiotics are so necessary! I swear by them!

  • Oh my I’d need something like this for adults, my immune system is crumbling at the moment – I think it’s because of all the stress! This is a pretty neat idea for the little ones tho x

  • I am past the age of breastfeeding but I think I would have loved a company like Upspring. It is so important to build up immunity and so many babies are colicky.

  • I haven’t seen this product before but man, with all of the colds and illnesses going around, you def. need something to boost the immune systems of infants AND adults!

  • I need to try something like these for adults. My stomach is so sensitive.

  • I’d love to research a little more about this. It’s really interesting that they use bovine colostrum!

  • It must be so hard as a baby to struggle with this and not to be able to communicate fully how they are feeling. And difficult to see as a parent too! I’m glad there are things on the market that can help though.

  • I am not a mom yet but this is so good for baby. Back in the day they would just blame in on colic but maybe this will reduce it.

  • There’s nothing worst than a sick feeling baby! Your miserable because your lil loved one feels bad and they feel bad. These sound like great products to fix this problem!

  • I love that they have probiotics for kids too. I take one daily and it has made a tremendous difference in my digestive health.

  • I love that Upspring is a mom-founded and mom-run company. It’s nice to know that this product is carried in mainstream stores.
